Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar has been honored with Legendary Award from The Brandlaureate. This award goes to the people and company who have achieved their name in worldwide. Lata Mangeshkar has shared a picture of the honor on twitter. With this she also has tweeted, Heartfelt thank you to The Brand Laureate for honoring me with the Legendary Award 2017.

This is to notice earlier Shahrukh Khan has been honored with this award in 2012. Before this South Africa’s former president Nelson Mandela, Nobel award winner Mohammed Yunus, Indian industrialist Ratan Tata, Appl’s late co-founder Steve Jobs, Facebook’s owner Mark Jukerburg, Formula-one winner Michael Schumacher have been honored with this award.

After winning that honor, Lata Mangeshkar also thanked her well-wishers and tweeted, I have lived through a gratifying career for which I am and will always remain in deep gratitude to all my well wishers. This is to notice that Lata Mangeshkar is now 87 years old and she is a Bharat Ratna and daughter of Deenanath Mangeshkar. In India, people still used to call her as the goddess Saraswati.

She has sung millennium songs in her career and still, she is favorite of many people. Rumors are that she is soon going to make her comeback with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati, in which she will sing a song for Deepika Padukone.
